Double/twin sleeping bags? Advice? Please?
In august for about 6 days and 5 nights i'm going to be camping for Reading festival in August. My boyfriend and I are sharing a tent and are thinking about getting a double sized sleeping bag to share. Im not sure, however, what is the best one to get, as this is my first time camping at a festival. I have seen two i think will be suitable but do not truly understand the difference between the two and which would be better. The links are below:

Having years of experience with synthetic and down bags, I have a strong bias toward down sleeping bags and down coats. I agree with others that you should purchase a right and left zipper sleeping bag, two bags providing more flexibility in use. In my climate, I spend many nights sleeping in snowbanks at temperatures around zero. Even in summer, I sleep in tundra areas where the temperature is near freezing. Therefore, I would buy two zero-rated bags. However, your climate probably very mild on summer nights. You will likely purchase a less extreme set of bags or even use a large down comforter over fleece blankets. Study the climate expectations for the nights you anticipate, then buy sleeping bags rated about ten or twenty degrees lower. You can also choose to buy synthetic bags that pair for about half the price of down if economy is the most important value for you. A +15 sleeping bag is adequate for most people, even +30 for car camping where other layers can be packed without being concerned about weight. I own a couple of +15 bags and a 0 bag.
